TONY CAPUTO
President, Co-General Manager, and Assistant Coach
Tony Caputo has been a dedicated member of the Warriors Association for more than 35 years and has held a variety of roles within the organization throughout that time. His connection to the Warriors runs deep, as his children also came through the Warriors ball program, playing from U12 through U19. Through their involvement, Tony and his family experienced firsthand the values of teamwork, commitment, and community that the Warriors organization strives to build in its athletes.
Tony has also been an integral part of the Warriors Jr. B Hockey program for more than 32 years. He currently serves as Team President, Co-General Manager and Assistant Coach, where he continues to contribute his experience, knowledge, and passion to the organization both on and off the ice.
In addition to his roles with the hockey program, Tony proudly serves as President of the Warriors Athletic Association; a position he considers his true honour. His commitment to the Warriors is rooted in a genuine desire to give back to an organization that has had a lasting impact on generations of young athletes.
As Tony puts it, “Giving back to the Warriors has always been easy, as they have supported so many kids over the last 40-plus years, and along the way I have had the pleasure of meeting some great people.”
Tony’s dedication, longevity, and commitment to the Warriors embody the true spirit of the organization and the importance of giving back to the community.
RICK PETERSON
Vice President and Assistant General Manager
Rick Peterson has been a dedicated member of the Beverly Warriors organization for more than 30 years. With a lifelong passion for both hockey and baseball, Rick has been involved in sports from a young age, progressing through the ranks from novice hockey to Junior hockey.
Throughout his time with the Warriors, Rick has held numerous roles within the organization, including Hockey Player (1977–1979), Assistant Coach, Head Coach, General Manager, and Director. His extensive experience in various positions has provided him with a unique understanding of the organization and the many aspects involved in building and supporting a successful hockey program.
Rick currently serves as the Assistant General Manager and Vice President of the Beverly Warriors Jr. B Hockey Team, where he continues to play an important role in supporting the team, coaching staff, players, and organization in any way he can.
DARIO CUTULLE
Secretary, Co-General Manager, and Associate Coach
Dario Cutulle began his tenure with the Beverly Warriors as the team’s Video Coach during the 2021–2022 season. He is now entering his sixth season with the organization, with each season bringing new responsibilities and opportunities to contribute to the team’s success. Dario currently serves as the Warriors’ Associate Coach and Co-General Manager, while also serving as the Secretary on the Beverly Warriors Association Board.
In his roles with the Warriors, Dario is involved in both hockey operations and coaching. On the hockey operations side, he assists with player scouting, recruitment, and team building. As Associate Coach, he works closely with the coaching staff to plan and run practices, prepare the team, and support the players throughout games. His role on the Association Board also allows him to contribute to the broader organization and its ongoing development.
A true hockey enthusiast, Dario can almost always be found at the rink. In addition to his responsibilities with the Warriors, he serves as a Head Coach at the U15AA level in minor hockey and works as a Skills Coach with Sync Sports, where he helps athletes develop their individual skills and overall game. Whether he is scouting players, coaching, running a practice, working behind the bench, developing skills, or simply watching a game, Dario is continually looking for opportunities to learn, contribute, and stay involved in the game he loves.
Outside of hockey, Dario is a teacher who works within a Sports Academy, combining his passion for education and athletics. He takes great pride in helping his athletes grow both on and off the ice and believes strongly in developing the person behind the player.
SEAN WRIGHT
Head Coach
Sean Wright is returning for his third season as Head Coach of the Beverly Warriors. Sean first joined the organization during the 2024–2025 season on an interim basis before taking on the role permanently. Since stepping behind the bench, the Warriors have continued to improve each season, both in their overall record and position in the standings.
Sean’s connection to the Warriors extends beyond his coaching career, as he is also a former player who helped the organization capture a Capital Junior Hockey League championship during his playing days. Following his time with the Warriors, Sean continued his hockey career at the post-secondary level, playing ACAC hockey with the Concordia Thunder while completing his university degree.
Away from the rink, Sean is an entrepreneur who operates multiple businesses, both within and outside of the hockey industry. One of his hockey-related ventures is Sync Sports, which specializes in off-season hockey training and player development.
While hockey remains a major part of Sean’s life, family is equally important to him. He enjoys spending time with his wife, their two boys, and their many animals. Sean also gives back to the game by helping coach his youngest son’s team. Despite his busy schedule in hockey and business, Sean makes it a priority to unplug from the rink and dedicate quality time to his family.
HAYDON BROWN
Assistant Coach
Haydon Brown is currently a Strength & Conditioning Coach with Northern Alberta Xtreme. He spent three seasons playing for the Beverly Warriors, where he was fortunate to be part of a Capital Junior Hockey League championship-winning team. This will be Haydon’s second season behind the bench as an Assistant Coach, and he is grateful for the opportunity to give back to an organization that played such an important role in his hockey career and his life.
BRIAR WHYTE
Assistant Coach
Briar Whyte is returning for his second season as an Assistant Coach with the Beverly Warriors. Entering his second year behind the bench, Briar is looking forward to building on the experience and knowledge he gained during his first season of coaching.
A former Warriors player himself, during his playing career, he shared the ice with fellow coach Haydon Brown, creating an even stronger connection to the Warriors program.
Briar is a passionate individual who loves the game of hockey.
ADAM MANAH
Director of Hockey Development
Adam Manah first joined the Beverly Warriors organization during the 2024–2025 season as the hockey team’s Skills Coach through his company, Manah’s Hockey Development. Today, Adam serves as the Warriors’ Director of Hockey Development, where he continues to play an integral role in player development while also mentoring coaches and contributing to the overall management and direction of the program.
Adam brings an extensive playing and coaching background to the Warriors organization. He played his minor hockey in Edmonton with the Maple Leaf Athletic Club before continuing his playing career at the Junior A level with the Fort Saskatchewan Traders and Fort McMurray Oil Barons.
His coaching career is equally impressive. Adam worked his way through the ranks of elite minor hockey before making the jump to the Alberta Junior Hockey League, where he held both General Manager and Head Coach positions with the Sherwood Park Crusaders and Fort McMurray Oil Barons. During his time with the Sherwood Park Crusaders, Adam coached the #1-ranked Junior A team in Canada during the 2019–2020 season, highlighting his leadership, hockey knowledge, and ability to build successful teams.
Since 2010, Adam has also operated Manah’s Hockey Development, where he works with players to develop elite-level skills through a strong focus on core fundamentals, skill development, and the application of those skills in game situations.
Adam’s extensive experience at the player, coaching, and management levels makes him a valuable member of the Warriors organization. Through his role as Director of Hockey Development, he is committed to helping players reach their potential while supporting coaches and contributing to the continued growth and development of the Warriors program.
